Why do you recommend morning classes?

Hot yoga + fitness starts your day off refreshed and renewed. You will have more energy through the day and be more mindful.

And what we noticed from 10 years of this studio running is that morning comers are the most consistent.

It seems that morning routines are easier to stick to. Putting first things first.

That's why we suggest you start with morning classes to get consistent exercise.

And we reward it by giving you double your money back in studio credit if you attend 4 morning sessions!

What exactly is this challenge?

This challenge involves 14 days of unlimited access to our yoga and fitness studio classes at a discounted price of $49. Normally $200.

The goal of this challenge is for you to come to the studio 4 times and kickstart healthy habits at a low-barrier to entry.

The reward for completion is full refund of your money ($49) in studio credit. We can't refund in cash due to the teacher pay and energy costs.

But rest assured we don't get any profit from it, the main purpose is to get you committed and cover some part of the cost.

The studio credit can be used to book other classes, purchase a subscription or book workshops.

The credit will be available for 5 days after the 14 days end.

Is this suitable for beginners?

Yes! There will be people like you in class, and some people who are advanced. Try to focus on only yourself and don't compare. Don't push yourself too hard and be kind to your bodies limits. Tell the teacher and they will accomodate for you.

Don’t sweat it. The more you practice the better you get. We encourage you to complete 10 classes so you will start to feel how beneficial hot yoga is. And don’t blame us if you get addicted!

Will it feel gross to sweat?

That's what most beginners think, but after you come into the class you will see that the sweat you produce during hot yoga is pure & clean. It doesn't smell or stick like the sweat produce on the go.

We also make sure studio is clean at all times, you won't be able to tell people sweat in here!

Are there showers?

Yes! Equipped with everything you need. Shampoos, conditioners, hair dryers...

Our showers are roomy and private!

Do I need to bring anything?

Bring a mat, towel and water or simply buy or rent everything from us. Yoga mat and towel rentals are at $3 per piece. After the class you will be sweating your butt off. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with refreshing showers

What should I do before class?

Wear something that is light and comfortable and hydrate fully few hours beforehand. Bring water, however the majority of your hydration needs to happen at least an hour before class. We suggest a light snack (banana is perfect!) rather than a full meal. You don’t want your Buddha bowl to come back up when you are doing the downward facing dog, do you?

The studio is open approximately 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after class. Give yourself at least 10 minutes to register if this is your first time. Staying true to Bikram philosophy we do not allow latecomers into Bikram, so don’t show up late to the party.

If you have pre-booked your class and did not cancel you will loose the drop-in fee you paid or $15 charge will be applied to your account if you are a member. Whenever you need to cancel please email us at studio@yogamakesme.com at least 4 hours before class.

What can I expect during classes?

The classes are challenging for everyone in the hot room, even for the most advanced yogis among us. So no need to feel nervous or self-conscious.

At some point during your first few classes you might feel dizzy or light headed. This is due to the fact that your body is not used to exercising and especially not with special effects – the heat that is.

Know that this is normal and it might take you up to ten consistent visits to find the new equilibrium. Give your body and yourself a chance and commit to these first classes regardless!

Meanwhile try not to step out (especially not in Bikram class) – just sit down or lay down on your mat.

What if I have injuries?

Bikram, like no other yoga, is designed to accommodate people with an extensive range of injuries. However please be mindful and listen to what your body is telling you. And tell us so we can give you advice suited for your body
